Super LOW rates!

Advertorial
.
.
Naturally, since I work for them, it was a matter of time before I was actually asked to blog about them too. Of course, I'm still doing this from a neutral point of view and am not gonna be like totally biased because, honestly, I've never even spent the night at the hotel before.
.
I've been there for like a thousand times, of course, for events, interviews, media tours, etc., and I have used one of the rooms for a day during one of the launches we had, so I do have an idea on what to expect when staying there.
.
the new rooms
.
Tune Hotels.Com will be celebrating their 1st Anniversary in April and is now throwing away room prices starting from as low as RM0.01 for the hotel in 1Borneo, Kota Kinabalu and RM10.00 for the hotel in Downtown KL. These rates are for online bookings only.
.
I know some of you might be thinking, aiyah, budget hotel, nobody wanna stay, sure they throw prices for so low lah, but you'll be surprised to know that since the hotel was launched in April last year, it has been getting an average occupancy rate of 95% every single day.
.
The rooms used to be very simple with polished cement floors and loud coloured walls but after getting feedback from guests, the management decided to upgrade the rooms and make it brighter. After all, they do have to go in flow with their motto of having 5-star service at a 1-star price.
.
the old rooms
.
The rooms are pretty neat. Each room comes with a Double/Single KingKoil Bed with a 250-thread count duvet, En-suite bathrooms with PowerShowers (definitely with water heater as well) AND toilet paper. The air-conditioning is an add-on facility, going for RM5.00 for 5 hours and RM10.00 for 12 hours. This is an option for those who do not need air-conditioning in their rooms and also to encourage the society these days NOT to waste electricity. Erm...and yeah, toiletries and towels are NOT provided as well.
.
.
So bring your own shampoo and soap! If you need towels, they sell it lah, downstairs at the 7-Eleven.
.
.
Overall, if you're not the Paris Hilton type and not fussy about certain things, Tune Hotels.Com is a good and cheaper choice of accomodation.
.
So if I were you, and with the airfares to KK so cheap now, I would go online and book myself into the NEW Tune Hotels.Com 1Borneo KK. Who knows, if I book my air tickets and rooms now for a stay in May, I might just get to enjoy sight seeing in Kota Kinabalu for only less than RM100!
.
.
So book now to enjoy the RM0.01 room rates at KK for stay dates from Apr 15 - July 31 or RM10.00 room rates in KL for stay dates from Mar 23 - Jul 31. You can also log onto www.tunehotels.com or call 03 - 7962 5888 for more information!
