The weekend that was

Saturday and Sunday flew by just like that *snaps finger* and now, annoyingly, it's Monday again. Thank goodness tomorrow is a Selangor holiday, so my mood's not the usual black.
.
Had to return the wedding gown to Pretty In White on Saturday. I kept it for 2 weeks after the wedding and I still didn't want to give it back, but I knew I had to. And besides, I wanted my RM800 deposit back too...so BROKE!!! and with Christmas coming...die!
.
Almost cried when I handed the gown back to them. It just brought back so much memories - me going there so many many many months back to choose the gown, me realising that this gown was THE gown, me going for the fitting so many times, me going back again with mummy to show her, me walking down the aisle in it, me almost tripping myself like a gazillion times throughout the day - handing over that gown was like handing over all those memories. Thank goodness for photographs and videos. And I get to keep the shoes *BIG grin*
.
We also celebrated Sarah's birthday on Saturday, and so, I didn't have much time to think twice about buying the gown from PIW because I had to rush off home to OUG to help mummy prepare for the party. Thank goodness for that because I was thiiiiiiis close to just telling PIW "Keep the deposit lah, and here's another RM200. I'm keeping the dress". Emo impulse.
.
FattyHubby and I checked out Signature@The Gardens for the first time and I must say, I was impressed. Very impressed. It didn't even look like the conventional GSC you find everywhere now. It didn't even look like a cinema. FattyHubby and I were standing right in front of it and yet, we asked the security guard where it was.
.
"Kat sini lah," he answered, looking at us weirdly.
Damn malu. Like so swaku like that.
.
Imagine, you still get the usual popcorn counter, but get this, you have a dessert bar as well, and a cafe that serves yummy coffee for less than RM10! Cool stuff right.
.
Of course the price per movie ticket is not cheap lah, RM20 for one. But with all these add-on frills you get, RM20 is actually not bad lah.
.
Note to myself: Don't even think of going to Gardens for Christmas shopping. Don't even know how to pronounce the names of the boutiques, wanna shop there. What nonsense.
.
Sunday was another celebration. Devon's christening. So everyone was at church to witness this while he slept right through the whole thing, except for the part where Father Simon baptised him and poured COLD FREEZING WATER over his little head lah. He woke with a jolt! Poor baby.
.
And when CuzNette left to go back to Singapore today, she sent me an sms.
.
"Kristy.....Going home now. Have left the baby's baptism baju at my mum's place in case you need it before my no 2 comes along *winks*"
.
Well.....let's put it this way. My honeymoon's in May. I'm most likely to ensure that NOTHING happens between now and then, but then again, should accidents happen, then, well....*shrugs*....thanks for the baptism baju, girl!
.
-_-
.
Christmas is coming. And everywhere looks soooooo good with the Christmas decor up. I'm feeling so excited about it already!
.
So many pictures to upload, but I haven't had time to download it from my camera yet. Busy people like that wan.
.
Ok, 34 presents to buy, I MUST start planning my shopping soon. Christmas is in 2 weeks!!! And I'm BROKE!
